What should we include into the video?

People don't want to watch a video, they want to play, so keep it short and sweet. Here's my suggestion:

-  Greeting
-  How RTD works
-  How to RTD
-  Explain the concept of Good rolls and Bad rolls
-  3 examples of each (1 complicated, 1 easy, and 1 in the middle)
-  What are/How to obtain credits
-  How to buy things
-  What are dice
-  How dice work
-  How to get perks
-  Call Admin feature (if we have time)
-  Wrap up video
-  Promo code
-  Farewell

Should probably be no more then a few minutes. However, we can make a second video explainging all the rolls in the future that soon-to-be regulars can watch.

I say we do the intro video, and make individual videos for each roll, so we can put them on the wiki or something. This way, we don't have one massive video showing all the rolls in one.

Here's something I whipped up for fun, feel free to use it as a wallpaper. It's made in Cinema 4D with physics so if we need a intro, I can have the dice falling super slow or something.

I just checked, and RTDGaming as a name isn't avaliable. We could just put it on Fox's or something, unless we have other name ideas. We could put it on mine, too.

Not sure, I'm typing up a basic script now.

Code: [Select]
RTD Script

Hello, and welcome to the Roll the Dice TF2 Server!
Roll the Dice, or "RTD" for short is a mod for Team Fortress 2.
RTD consists of 3 main components:
    1. Rolls
    2. Credits
    3. Dice

Rolls can be initiated by typing "RTD" in chat.
When you type RTD in chat, you gain an positive or negative effect which is completely randomized each time you roll.
Between rolls, you need to wait a certain ammount of time before you can roll again.
Some rolls include:
Toxic, ignite, instant kills, redbull, and many many more.
    <Shows the rolls>

Credits are the main "currency" for RTD. Every minute, you gain 1 credit. Other methods of gaing credits include: Gifting and picking up presents.
<This would be where I would flash the promo code on screen>
Credits can be used for buying rolls, giving other people credits, giving other people rolls, and buying dice.
To use credits, just type "buy" in chat.

Dice are the "experience" of RTD. To gain dice, you can either buy for 50 credits each, mining dice at mining deposits, or being the MVP at the end of a round.
To mine a dice deposit, just hit it with your melee weapon.
Every single time you gain 200 dice, you level up, giving you 2 dice perk points which can be used to upgrade permanent perks.
To spend your dice perks, just type "buy" in chat.

Thats the basics of RTD!
If you need more help, ask an admin, visit the forums, or visit the RTD wiki.
Have fun!

^That.

We need a voice for the video now, we can do one person or
have 1 person for each section like
1 for dice, 1 for credits, and 1 for rolls

If this isn't coming extremely quickly, I could read a part (or do something else to help with this thing).

I should have some good internet access next week and could send a file then.

I nominate (if we CAN do nominations :P) John, Spycheck, and Kilandor. I think their voices are well suited enough to do it :)

I guess I could do a voice if nobody else wants to (despite nobody knowing what my voice even sounds like. If it doesn't sound good, I won't bother sending it in though ;)).
