Sandwich: The under appreciated roll.

Sandwiches are like static nonkillable dispensers.  Very useful when put on health packs near your team, on control points, behind cover, or in sentry nests.

I can't really think of anything else to do with them other then that.  How about you guys?

Keep them toward the front lines, where health packs aren't avaliable. They are useful in gaining ground on an opponent: it causes you to have to retreat less and defend your ground a lot easier. If there's a key point that needs to be defended: that's the perfect place to throw it down.

If you're a medic, a sandwich can show enemy spies who are faking a player with less then full health. Granted, you have to be really paying attention in order to see this.

Like many camping supplies, a Sandwich is a great companion for a Sniper. :D

My favorite spot to put these are at common nooks or health spawning spots. If there's a corner that everyone hides behind to then pop out and shoot, that's a great place. For the health spawning, we have all experienced rushing on fire to a health area and dying since someone took it. Putting a sandvich there will save someone's life.
