Dungeon Defenders roll pack!

I'll be picking one tower from each class (Monk, Squire, Huntress and Apprentice) and converting it into an RTD roll!

Strength Drain Aura (Monk)
Reduces enemies damage by 50% 75%. The Strength Drain has 3000 HP and loses 10HP/s which gives it a shelf life of 5 minutes if no enemy goes in it.
Once an enemy enters the Strength Drain it loses an additional 10HP/s.



Darkness Cloud (Huntress)
Reduces enemy visibility by 95% for 5s
Lasts 30 activations or 5 minutes, whichever comes first.
There is a 10s cooldown per player before they can be affected by a Darkness Cloud.

Eeek, it's dark!

Slice N Dice (Squire)
Does 30 damage and knocks back enemies.

I had a feeling something like this would happen. I am interested to see how this would play out.

Well the Huntress doesn't have awesome towers. There's Proximity Traps which we already have, Ethereal Traps which is pretty lame, Gas Trap would be the same as a slow cube, Inferno Traps as if we need more fire rolls xD and that leaves us with Darkness Trap. Anyways the Darkness Trap allows me to use an age old RTD but with a twist  ;)

I got a feeling that these rolls are going to be great for defense, unless there's a few "buffers" we haven't seen yet!

I don't want to be in that darkness trap when there's a lot of SPIES around... O_o

Cheese, those aren't going to be the roll specs. Fox just put in random numbers so you know that there'll be health/seconds/damage involved.
Note: Values will change they are just placeholders for now.

i saw that, jarett and removed the post accordingly

strength drain aura- this is going to be difficult to suggest values for, without knowing how large the effective range will be. Also the method of removal (dealing damage to it) is not bad, but being relyant on number of players effectively inside of it, this of course means the players have to know how to deal damage to it, further more what about cases were the server is not full.    the damage reduction value @75% feels a little high, this could be rectified by either reducing this value, or the better idea.. PERK IT!   im thinking something like 1500 health loosing 10hp/s which gives it an effective duration of like 2.5 minute (PERK: health pool increase)  and loosing an additional 3-5 hp/s per player inside of it (PERK:increased damage deal to aura while inside of it)

Darkness cloud- 95%? why not 100% I mean im sure im not the only person that has suggested a blind roll, infact, This is an even better manor of implementing it. (PERK: only reduces visablity by 75%- 50%)

I haven't actually played around with these new rolls yet. I'm just setting up the foundations and then when it's all done I'll be doing actual testing to determine the values.

These sound great and I'm excited for them, thanks Fox! However, I'd suggest a different look for the Strength Drain as it appears in the world, as I don't like the look of a big red ball much.

(Mage tower should be Lightning Tower and good job on the Slice n dice :D)
